Very Understanding, Calm & Patient Doctor I'm suffering from Neurogenic Bladder from August 2019 till date because of multiple failed back spine surgeries & was on indwelling urinary catheter since then & from 2023 I was having severe abdomen distension issues & recurrent UTI (urinary tract infection) episodes (& also bedridden from August 2017 till date & also on oxygen support from 2022). It was being difficult to manage my neurogenic bladder issues along with indwelling catheter. I know my issues aren't curable but it can be managed. Then I was admitted on 27th July to Medicover Hospital, Mumbai & Dr. Varun Agarwal explained me how to treat UTI in neurogenic bladder & introduced me about Suprapubic Catheter (SPC). We did hear about SPC earlier but didn't know if it can be handled well with my underlying condition. Then we gave thought about it when Dr. Varun Agarwal explained it with proper clarity & thought of giving SPC a try. Then Dr. explained about the procedure in detail when we were completely sure on doing SPC procedure & he ensured it's done well with cautions in my current condition. After the procedure I'm having very less abdomen distension issues & I'm really thankful to him. He is very understanding, calm & patient Dr. & soft spoken person as well...Definitely recommend him.
